Terms of Service

By accessing or using AuraTask, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

AuraTask is a gamified productivity platform that helps users:

• Manage tasks and build habits with XP rewards
• Track productivity with Pomodoro timer
• Sync calendar events from Google Calendar
• Access AI-powered assistance (Pro feature)
• Visualize progress through levels and achievements

To use AuraTask, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate accounts at our discretion.

AuraTask offers three subscription tiers:

• Free: Basic features with unlimited tasks and habits
• Coffee ($5/month or $50/year): Includes Google Calendar integration
• Boost ($15/month or $150/year): Includes AI assistant and advanced analytics

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Prices may change with 30 days notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis by contacting support.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for illegal purposes
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems
• Upload malicious code or harmful content
• Reverse engineer or decompile the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the service
• Share your account with others

You retain ownership of all content you create (tasks, habits, notes, etc.). By using AuraTask, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for providing the service. We will never sell or share your personal content with third parties.

Pro users have access to AI assistance powered by Claude (Anthropic). AI-generated content is provided for guidance only. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI suggestions. AI conversations may be used to improve the service but are never shared with third parties.

AuraTask integrates with third-party services like Google Calendar. Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or data accuracy.

AuraTask, its logo, design, and features are proprietary and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our service without written permission.

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any losses due to service interruptions.

AuraTask is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements. Use of the service is at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuraTask and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption, regardless of the cause of action.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AuraTask, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may delete your account through account settings. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification with at least 30 days notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
